Charlie Peschardt, Head of Operations Support, is an Economics graduate and a  former Royal Navy Operations Officer and helicopter pilot who has worked to improve governance and leadership impacts in non-profit and public sectors in the UK, Latin America and the Caribbean since 2013. He first came to the BVI in 2017 to lead Hurricane Irma recovery efforts and later joined the Recovery & Development Agency. With an MBA in Societal Risk & Resilience, Charlie has researched climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies and is happy to join Green VI to help the BVI become a beacon of excellence in resource management by minimizing waste, reducing costs of living and maximizing opportunities to live sustainably.
