In pushing for an increase in solar and wind power usage in the territory, Green VI has proposed five pilot projects to begin the process of reducing reliance on oil power, enabling local people to learn how to install and maintain solar and wind power systems, and how to join those systems to the existing power grid in a way that enables excess power to be put back into the grid.
The proposed pilot schemes are:

The Green VI Glass Blowing Studio
HM Prison Balsam Ghut
Ivan Dawson Primary School
BVIEC Headquarters
After government approves these schemes the next step will be to raise $500,000 in order to initiate the projects.
